Category Management Analyst
As a Category Management Analyst, your primary responsibility will be to analyze sales data and generate actionable insights that support data-driven decision-making for Sales and Marketing teams. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset and strategic thinking capabilities to identify and interpret product category consumption and distribution patterns. This role requires the ability to model current and future trends, clearly communicate insights, and make recommendations to key stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage the application of various techniques to organize, extract valuable insights, interpret, and present data and analytics, enabling the Sales & Marketing team’s to drive informed decision-making
- Develop, maintain, and analyze sales and shipment trends
- Identify category and competitive insights within Hispanic CPG landscape.
- Collaborate with other team members to proactively elevate data insights and anticipation of short and longer term product category strategies
- Develops compelling, fact-based presentations utilizing data resources to support customer and marketing initiatives.
- Communicates and develops action plans to deliver against Business Intelligence
- Demonstrates the knowledge and ability to identify data discrepancies, and troubleshooting data sources and systems as part of a data validation process.
- Ability to collaborate cross functionally with all levels of the organization, including Executives, Department Directors and Managers.
Job Qualifications:
- 5–7 years of experience in data insights, analytics platforms, and syndicated data tools such as IRI, Circana, Nielsen
