JOB TITLE: Jr. Video Editor/ Motion Designer, contract

LOCATION: Remote but must be located in one of the following locations for monthly meeting - Los Angeles/San Bruno, CA or Hoboken, NJ hub areas

PAY RATE: $32ph / w2

START DATE: 5/7/2025 – 9/1/2025 (with possible extension)

HOURS: Monday- Friday, 9a- 5p (up to 40 hours per week)

Summary:

The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic and optimistic individual who is passionate about advertising and able to transform 2D & 3D creative concepts into beautiful motion work for our advertisers. You will be focused on a specific vertical (i.e., Food, Consumables, Entertainment, etc.) working with various advertisers to create compelling animations. This role is right for you if you are an innovative thinker and visual storyteller with an ability to build and maintain professional relationships, and effective time and project management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Art Directors, Designers, and Copywriters to create and produce compelling digital solutions that align with business objectives outlined in project briefs.

• Ensure projects are delivered with both Walmart and partner brands in mind.

• Storyboard, create and edit videos/animatics with brand consistency.

• Provide expertise in motion design and principles of animation.

• Deliver high-quality assets in multiple formats for various devices.

Position Requirements:

• 4 years of creative video experience, especially in omni channel, multi-brand retail industry.

• College degree; BA or BFA preferred in Design or related field.

• Passion for motion design, video editing and production.

• Proficient knowledge of Adobe CC: After Effects, Premiere, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

• Experience with Cinema 4D is a plus

• Experience with AI video tools, Runway, Kling, Pika, Adobe Firefly, Adobe Express and Adobe Substance are a .

• Solid organizational skills, detail oriented. Capable of working on multiple projects concurrently in a very fast-paced environment, ensuring that quality deliverables are achieved on time.

• Strong relationship-building skills. Ability to work with a variety of people in various disciplines. Enjoys working with others and collaborating with a positive attitude.

• Exceptional communication & presentation skills, both written and verbal.

• The drive to excel and succeed; self-motivated, managing projects effectively.

• Passion for Walmart, our partners, products, marketing and advertising.
