Coast Catering is looking for a full-time detail-oriented professional with the ability to support our Sales & Event Managers in a busy catering & special events environment. This position will assist with coordination and logistics of up to 200 events per year both in office and on-site. Candidates must be able to anticipate project needs, discern work priorities, and meet deadlines with little supervision, and be willing to work weekends and/or evenings, as needed. Primary duties include editing proposals, coordinating logistics for events and general administrative support.
You will be responsible for event documentations, such as proposal edits, diagrams and BEOs. Coordinate with Event Managers, Kitchen Department and Logistics team to ensure consistent, high - level service throughout the pre - event, event and post event phases. Total Party Planner and Prismm experience is preferred but not required.
Requirements:
- Proficient in computer software. Microsoft Word and Excel experience required
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment, meet deadlines and communicate effectively with all departments
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and adapt to changing needs.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Demonstrate high-level of organization, attention to detail and creativity
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong Customer Service and Customer Satisfaction Skills
- Professional Appearance.
- May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs. Occasional travel for events may be required.
- Must co-manage or manage events - days, nights and/or weekends.
Minimum Years of Experience: (2) Years Hospitality Related Experience with Catering or Event Operations Preferred
Hourly Rate: $23 in office, $28 on site
Salary : $23 - $28
