Catering By Corey in Asheville is gearing up for a busy year and we are looking to add to our established 38 person team. We are looking for candidates who fit within our core values of: Integrity, Fun, Balance and Growth.
We are currently hiring for the following positions: Catering Event Server, BOH Prep Chefs / Onsite Event Chefs.
BOH Prep Chefs / Onsite Events Chef
Ideal Availability: Any availability Wed- Sunday (morning, afternoon and evening shifts available) -- Part -time -- we can fill you in according to your availability!
Pay Rate: $22- $24 Depending on Role and Experience
Responsibilities
- Set up workstations
- Cook dishes to business standards
- Follow health and safety guidelines
- Prepare ingredients for use during shift
- Travel to and from Event Venues
- Work onsite at Event Venues for Plated Dinner, Family Style Dinner and Action Station Style Receptions
- Loading and Unloading Catering Van
- Driving Catering Van (ideal but not required)
- Maintaining Catering Equipment
- Washing Dishes when needed
Qualifications
- Proven working experience as a cook
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to listen and communicate effectively
- Positive Attitude and Team Oriented
- Reliable transportation and Valid Driver’s License
