Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and energetic Infant Assistant Teacher to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate is nurturing, dependable, and eager to support the growth and development of infants in their earliest stages of learning. You'll work alongside a lead teacher and help maintain a safe, organized, and loving classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the lead teacher in daily care routines including feeding, diapering, and nap schedules
• Maintain a clean, safe, and engaging classroom environment
• Interact with infants through songs, sensory play, and age-appropriate activities
• Observe and document developmental milestones
• Communicate effectively with parents and team members
• Follow daily schedules while remaining flexible to meet individual children's needs
• Assist with classroom organization and sanitation practices

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience working with infants in a childcare setting preferred
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and sit on the floor/play with children
• Passion for early childhood development and teamwork

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
