What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at Catfish Johnny's Restaurant?
Experienced Server needed for a fast paced family owned restaurant. Must have serving experience (minimum 2 years experience) , must be at least 18 years old and have your own form of transportation. Must be available to work Wednesday through Saturday as needed, either during the day or in the evening. Days off are Sunday, Monday and Tuesday.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests promptly and courteously.
- Take food and drink orders accurately using Toast POS system.
- Provide detailed information about menu items, including specials and promotions.
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner while ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Manage guest relations by addressing any concerns or requests efficiently.
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation of orders.
- Handle cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
- Exhibit strong time management skills to balance multiple tasks during busy shifts.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a server in a restaurant, at least two years experience required.
- Must be at least 18 years of age and have your own transportation.
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems.
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, as required by the business needs.
