General Overview
Reporting directly to the President and serving on the senior leadership team, this full-time position will be responsible for the implementation and execution of an enrollment strategy that aligns with the mission and enrollment goals of Cathedral High School. Critical to this work will be the development of an enrollment model that emphasizes building and maintaining strong relationships amongst current and prospective families, within the community, and between Cathedral and current and potential feeder schools. Studying and understanding critical market demographics and using data to set attainable target goals and strategies will be a necessity of this role. The Director will be responsible for all major elements of the Cathedral enrollment operation, including, but not limited to planning and representing Cathedral at enrollment-focused events, managing the applicant pool and interview process, and assuring that all data is properly maintained and analyzed to drive our enrollment operation. The Director will be responsible for fostering a strong environment of shared ownership and participation in the enrollment process amongst the senior staff of Cathedral, as well as other key constituent groups. The Director will supervise a part-time office assistant.

With enrollment up 30 percent over 5 years, the opening of the new Daley Center for Campus Ministry, championship athletic programs and the addition of 9 new AP course over 3 years, Cathedral is primed for an exciting future as it approaches its centennial celebration!
Key Responsibilities
· Set an annual enrollment strategy that drives the admissions process at Cathedral High School.
· Plan and execute a calendar of annual admissions events, including but not limited to Open House and Accepted Student Night.
· Manage the budget and day-to-day operations of the Admissions office. This will include regular, timely and strategic communication with prospective families, a demographically appropriate marketing strategy, and the management of the application process and procedures.
· Effectively manage Ravenna, the enrollment database, and use it to its full potential and capabilities.
· Collaborate with the Finance Office to oversee the distribution of scholarships and financial aid.
· Oversee a new marketing strategy that emphasizes Cathedral’s ability to reach families of diverse backgrounds and who speak multiple languages.
· Collect and maintain key enrollment data and statistics to help inform effective enrollment practices and strategies.
· Lead the Enrollment Committee of the Board of Trustees and provide timely and detailed enrollment reports as requested by the Board.
· Recommend and oversee an applicant review process that best facilitates the enrollment of a talented, strong class of Cathedral incoming students.
· Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and Communication to appropriately and effectively market Cathedral High School from an enrollment lens
Education
· Bachelor’s degree required.
Requirements
· Belief and ability to clearly articulate the value propositions of a Catholic education
· Minimum of 3 years experience working within the admissions field or in secondary or pre-secondary education.
· Experience with public speaking and communication with various constituent groups
· Ability to unite the leadership team around a community-wide strategy and create critical buy-in
· Ability to work some nights and weekends typical to an admissions position
Desired Skills
· Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
· Strong technological competence and comfort with working with a variety of online systems, especially Ravenna.
· Literacy of high school financial aid practices
· Ability to speak additional languages with a strong preference for fluency in Spanish
