Job Summary: The Housekeeper has the responsibility of maintaining the clean and sanitary conditions of the building.
Duties/Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:
I. Cleans designated area as assigned by Supervisors.
II. Assists in laundering process as assigned by Supervisors.
III. Maintains utility and storage areas in a neat and orderly condition in accordance with the facility's requirements.
IV. Communicates with the Supervisor concerning the supplies needed and any problems with the equipment.
V. Completes all required documentation by end of shift.
VI. Adheres to all safety regulations of the facility.
VII. Performs other duties as directed by the supervisor.
VIII. Physical Demands: Moderate physical activity performing somewhat strenuous daily activities of a primarily product nature.
A. Stand/Walk required between 33% to 66% of time on wet/slippery floors.
B. Use of hands to finger, handle and feel required over 66% of time.
C. Stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl required between 33% to 66% of time.
D. Able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
E. Manual dexterity sufficient to reach and handle items.
F. Exposed to cleaning chemical between 33% to 66% of time worked.
