Summary : Activity Specialist responsible for helping participants grow artistically. Responsibilities :
- Responsible for developing, teaching & maintaining scheduled Activities.
- Responsible for helping participants develop in arts and crafts.
- Organizing Arts and Crafts exhibitions.
- Engage participants in the arts to help build skills that would help them express themselves.
- Develop and maintain arts, theater, music, dance and poetry, jewelry making, and paper mâché.
- Organize and create art exhibitions, dance routines, theater presentations, music recitals, and poetry jams.
- Assist with the recruitment and retention of participants.
- Maintain site bulletin boards and produce flyers for events.
- Organize and create program performance costumes.
- Accompany participants on art, theater, and dance-related trips.
- Maintain daily attendance for all courses
- Co-facilitate Parent Meetings
- Ensure the cleanliness and presence of all of the space used by the program participant
- Responsible for keeping the Program Director informed of any changes and abnormalities that may occur.
- Submit weekly reports to the Program Director on a timely basis.
- Attend all program staff meetings, trainings, and special events.
- Assist other staff when needed
- Other duties as assigned.
Salary : $18 - $20 / per hour. This is a part-time position with approximately 20 hours per week. Position Type and Expected Hours of Work : This is a part-time position. The days and hours are as follows : Monday-Friday 5 pm to 9 pm, & some Saturdays Education and / or experience :
