Camp Specifics:
- Monday - Friday Day Camp
- Camp staff needs to start June 2nd, 2025
- Season is 8 weeks; June 9th - August 1st, 2025
Program Statement
Fatima Family Center, located in Cleveland’s Hough neighborhood, provides programs and services for all ages, including cultural, leadership and development activities for children and youth, homework assistance, summer camp, field trips and recreational programs. Fatima also provides adult services including parenting classes, computer lab, health screenings and food pantry. Older adults can benefit from socialization activities designed specifically for them.
Catholic Charities is seeking Summer Camp Counselors that are highly energetic, mission driven, and have a passion to work with children. We have over 100 campers each year. Campers enjoy a variety of recreational activities daily, including weekly field trips. Our camp is licensed under ODJFS and has been recognized by a 5 star rating by Step up to Quality.
Camp Counselors must be at least 18 years of age to work with the youth in our day camp. Preferred Camp Counselors will have experience working with school aged children.

Camp Counselor
- Provide a safe, recreational, and educational day camping experience for assigned group of campers.
- Monitor attendance and maintain a daily sign-in sheet as needed.
- Assist with and plan activities (such as arts and crafts).
- Participate in field trip activities.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School Diploma
