Talent Management Administrator
The Talent Management Administrator at Catholic Charities supports various HR functions, including talent acquisition, onboarding, and compliance. Key tasks include advertising jobs, conducting interviews, managing the career page, and developing staff initiatives. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in HR or related field, 3-5 years of experience, proficiency in HRIS and applicant tracking systems, and strong communication and organizational skills. Some travel required.
Responsibilities:
- Under direction, ensure that the activities of this position and relevant programs are consistent with the mission, vision and values of Catholic Charities, Diocese of Cleveland.
- Advertise and post jobs, screen, interview, test applicants, check references. May discuss organization, policy, wages, working conditions, and promotional opportunities with prospective employees.
- Attend and host career fairs and other networking events as appropriate.
- Manage Catholic Charities’ Careers page, employment-related aspects of the webpage and social media channels, and campus recruiting and internship/field experience opportunities.
- Complete background checks in accordance with Catholic Charities’ and program guidelines.
- Facilitate new employee orientation and on-boarding process through initial 90-day employment period.
- Assist in the development and implementation of formal staff development initiatives in collaboration with Catholic Charities’ leaders.
- Complete salary surveys as required on behalf of Catholic Charities.
- Process candidate and employee information as needed through the use of Human Resources Information System, the applicant tracking system and various software.
- Participate, under minimum supervision, in broad assignments requiring originality and ingenuity with some capacity for unsupervised decision-making.
- Act as liaison with other departments, units, communities or organizations championing the hire and development of top talent throughout Catholic Charities.
- Prepare various reports/metrics in conformance with legislated requirements or organization’s needs.
- Perform other duties as necessary to accomplish objectives.
Requirements:
- Combination of education and experience normally represented by a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field with three to five years of related HR generalist experience.
- Proficient in the use of computers and Microsoft Office software and HRIS (UKG) preferred. Experience with an applicant tracking system is mandatory.
- Must be patient and persistent with a high energy level and a propensity for flexibility.
- Must have excellent organizational skills, strong detail orientation and the ability to work independently.
- Must have excellent oral and written communication and professional presentation skills.
- Must have the ability to effectively prioritize and implement a variety of concurrent and varying activities and initiatives.
- Must be able to effectively and productively work with people of very diverse economic, cultural and professional backgrounds.
- Must be able to work independently from general instructions.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule that may include rare evenings.
- Final applicant is required to be fingerprinted to complete background check.
