Mental Health Peer Advocate 130 & 126, Bridgewater & Flemington
7 hours/2 days week in each location = 14 hours week

Description
The Peer Advocate will be an individual who is or has been a consumer of mental health services. Their lived experiences will assist with the following responsibilities:
Offer encouragement, support, outreach and service linkage to program clients.
Conduct psychoeducation and supportive groups.
Knowledge of community resources.
Participate in Team Meetings weekly.
Experience and desire to assist others facing challenges related to mental illness.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in behavioral health or related field preferred and/or 2 years’ experience working with individuals with mental illness.
Flexible schedule: part time 14 hours weekly: 7 hours in Bridgewater and 7 hours in Flemington.
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving history.
