Substance Abuse Counselor 115
Annual Salary: $51,500
Responsibilities
- Seeking two fulltime CADC’s or applicants who have completed the written exam.
- Completes assessments for parents and caregivers for the State of NJ DCPP.
- Makes referrals to treatment as needed in addition to case management of referrals to treatment.
- Must be knowledgeable of assessment tools, recovery, and stages of change. The ability to manage time and complete tasks professionally. Open to learn, develop, expand in the field of addiction.
- Self starter who is able to work as a team and mange independently.
Requirements
- CADC is required or if you have passed the written exam
- High school diploma
- Ability to use computer and type
- professional writing skills
- Reading comprehension
- Decision making skills
- Pass a criminal and child abuse background check
- Bilingual a plus Spanish, Portuguese, Creole, American sign language is desirable
- Excellent communication verbal and written
