Youth Advocate 171
Salary $55,000
Description
- Multi-disciplinary team to provide services to young adults in a transitional living program.
- Case management, psycho-social assessments, development and implementation of intervention strategies.
- Youth Advocate will provide coaching to support each youth to achieve goals of housing stability, sustaining employment, and educational achievement.
- Ability to motivate, influence, and mentor young adults to achieve their goals.
- Comfortable working in the field, linking youth to community resources, traveling in Middlesex and Somerset Counties, and passionate about supporting young adults in reaching their goals.
- On-call and evening hour availability is required as part of the position.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Bilingual Required - English/Spanish.
- Experience in a child welfare social service setting or experience working with transition-age youth preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.
- Travel within Middlesex and Somerset Counties.
- Flexible work schedule with some evening hours required.
