Position: Housing Navigator
Salary: $23.79/hourly
Catholic Charities is seeking a Housing Navigator in the SSVF. This is a full time position. The Housing Navigator will assist low-income homeless veterans and veteran families at risk of becoming homeless by providing housing resources needed to reach their permanent housing goals. Must have a commitment to and compassion for the needs of low-income populations. The responsibilities include: Develop partnerships with property managers and landlords in counties that we served and maintain a database of landlords and available properties. Ensure that all regulatory agreements, contracts, and fair housing laws conform to the regulations as they relate to housing. Record all documentations in HMIS and follow all HIPAA rules. Desired qualifications: HMIS data entry, CoC, and Coordinated Entry System knowledge. Strong verbal and written communication skills, ability to do community outreach, community organizations and housing navigation. Must have a clean DMV record and the ability to travel throughout San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Tuolumne, Mariposa, and Calaveras counties, our service areas.
