Overview
The Admin Assistant will provide essential administrative support to the Unmet Needs Long-term Recovery Group for Lee County. This group, led by Catholic Charities Diocese of Venice, is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive long-term disaster response for Lee County. The Admin Assistant will report to the Director and work closely with other team members to support the group's goals and objectives.
Job Responsibilities
- Schedule and organize meetings of the Unmet Needs Long-term Recovery Group, including sub-committee meetings.
- Take minutes and manage correspondence related to the Unmet Needs Long-term Recovery Group
- Organize and maintain project documents and records, including data related to the group's progress and outcomes.
- Assist in managing financial documents, including processing invoices and receipts, reconciling bank statements, and monitoring budgets for the Unmet Needs Long-term Recovery Group
- Provide general administrative support to the Unmet Needs Long-term Recovery Group, including data entry and report preparation.
- Assist with event planning and coordination related to the Unmet Needs Long-term Recovery Group
- Assist with donor outreach and communications related to the Unmet Needs Long-term Recovery Group
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Proven experience as an administrative assistant, or relevant role
- Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Drive
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of disaster recovery or non-profit organizations a plus
