Sojourner House Lead Staff
We are currently looking to fill Shelter Lead Staff Positions at the Sojourner House in Eau Claire working with our community homeless population. The Lead Staff assists in the operations of the shelter, and provides shift supervision, support, and training to volunteers during the evening and night shifts. Ideal candidates will possess excellent decision making & interpersonal skills. Be recognized as a leader and respond to urgent and/or unexpected situations. Prior experience with the homeless or vulnerable preferred.
Candidates must be willing to work nights and rotating weekends. Shifts are as follows: 6:00 pm-10:00 pm; 6:00 pm- 1:00 am; 1:00 am to 9 am; and 5 am to 9 am. Ideally, the candidate for this role will have a flexible schedule to be able to be cross trained across the multiple shifts, as well as be able to work weekends and some holidays.
The starting pay range is $15.00 to $18.89 based on experience & education with a $3 per hour shift differential offered for the hours worked between 10 pm-5 am. An on-call bonus per day is also offered from Friday night to Monday morning.
Must be 18 years old. Background check required.
