Payrate: $23.00 an hour
Catholic Charities of Baltimore is currently seeking a part-time Pre-Onboarding Coordinator, will be accountable for processing candidates from Recruiting through the Pre-Onboarding process and into UKG Onboarding. This includes, but it is not limited to, new hire communications, scheduling and reviewing pre-employment background checks and medical screenings, updating new hire information, and scheduling and coordinating attendance at New Employee Orientation (NEO). The work schedule is Monday – Friday, Wednesday, 8:30am - 4:30pm (3 days in the office; 2 days remote).
JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversees the successful completion of all pre-employment requirements for new employees.
- Maintains the integrity of the pre-employment process by complying with all recruitment policies and procedures, maintaining compliance, and confidentiality.
- Utilizes the UKG Onboarding and Reporting modules to administer accurate and timely HR data.
- Uses reports and Excel tracking to maintain new hire status information to keep Hiring Managers and HR informed regarding new hire status: Updates and reconciles data as required to ensure information is current and accurate.
- Continuously evaluates the onboarding process to ensure consistency, thoroughness, and efficiency of the process in the interest of creating a seamless, easy, and positive process for the new employee.
- Schedules and coordinates New Employee Orientation, either in-person or virtual for all new employees.
- Collaborates with other HR colleagues for alignment and knowledge sharing.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 2 years related Human Resources or Customer Service experience.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Must possess exceptional organizational skills, time management capabilities, and attention to detail beyond reproach.
- Possess strong customer service skills while maintaining a high level of integrity and confidentiality with each interaction.
- Ability to remain calm in all circumstances with the ability to problem solve when faced with adversity.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize workload to complete assigned deliverables within the allocated timeline.
- Sound judgment and ability to know when to reach out to others for new hire decisions.
- Experience with and knowledge of Applicate Tracking and Onboarding Systems (ATS), e.g., UKG.
- Requires excellent computer navigation skills to utilize systems and software necessary to perform position functions. Advanced-level Windows PC, web browsing (i.e., Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.), and Microsoft Office application knowledge, such as Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability with change.
