Job Description
Catholic Charities of Eastern Virginia is searching a Full-Time Administrative Assistant to work out of our Princess Anne office in Virginia Beach. The primary purpose of the position is to answer telephones, greet clients and visitors to the office, provide program support to our Mental Health, Senior Services, Financial Housing Counseling and Adoption programs.
The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, well organized, and possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Minimum of three years’ work-related experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word and Excel
- Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities
- Team oriented with professional friendly demeanor
Duties
· Answer/direct incoming calls and agency voicemails
· Greet clients and visitors to office
· Responsible for incoming and outgoing mail
· Accept donations and provide written receipts for items
· Responsible for scheduling maintenance on building and vehicles for office
· Order office supplies as needed
· Provide administrative support to programs as needed
· Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Pay Rate: $14 per hour
Acceptance of and adherence to Catholic social teaching and a Pro-Life philosophy a must.
