What are the responsibilities and job description for the Case Manager position at Catholic Charities of Eastern Virginia?
Catholic Charities of Eastern VA is searching for a qualified Representative Payee Case Manager. The primary responsibilities of the position are 1) Work closely with client bookkeeper to ensure proper management of clients' finances. 2) Work in conjuction with clients' community case manager and Social Security Administration for optimal case management. 3) Establish a budget plan for client consistent with Social Security guidelines. 4) Review, authorize and submit payment requests for clients' bills. 5) Track expenditures and monthly cash flow for clients. 6) Prepare Social Security Administration reports.
Associates degree in a related field is preferred. Minimum of three years' related work experience in a professional office environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and QuickBooks is required. Excellent organizational and time management skills are essential.
Acceptance and adherence to Catholic social teaching and Pro-Life philosophy a must.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
