Catholic Charities of Los Angeles, Inc. is one of the largest human services providers in California that operates a variety of programs to serve the poor and strives to find permanent solutions to crisis situations by offering clients the tools and resources needed to achieve greater self-reliance and stability in their lives.
The person in this role provides and leads activities that enhance academic performance, life skills and cultivate interest in the arts.
Responsibilities :
- Prepare and lead learning activities geared at enriching all school subjects for Middle School and High School teens.
- Prepare and lead activities that will provide program participants the opportunities to increase awareness and enhancement of their talent / sin art, music and / or dance.
- Structure learning environment and incorporate life skill activities that will encourage development of good character and positive values.
- Work with other staff members in periodically evaluating the progress of the program; participates in making adjustments as may be needed to meet the desired program outcomes
- Attend staff and program meetings as directed.
- Prepare reports as needed.
- Assist Program Manager at the program.
- Perform related duties as required.
Qualifications :
Working Hours are 2 : 30pm-6 : 30pm
