The Case Worker will engage in client interviews to assess and understand the nature and extent of their challenges, which may include personal and family adjustments, potential foster care situations, financial struggles, employment issues, basic needs concerns, and physical or mental impairments. They will gather relevant information about the client's medical, psychological, and social factors, evaluate their capacities, and provide counseling and support to develop plans for meeting their needs and improving their social functioning. The Case Worker will actively refer clients to community resources and organizations, maintain accurate documentation and reporting for government agencies and funding sources, and ensure effective communication with supervisors and other stakeholders. Timely reporting of safety issues is also an essential responsibility.
This Position is Full Time. Pay is $22.00 Per Hour.

Education and/or Experience Required at Entry
- Associate Degree in Human Services or a related field.
- Three years of experience working with vulnerable individuals.
- Alternatively, a combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
- Candidates with lived experience are preferred and encouraged to apply.
- Valid N.Y.S. Driver's License.
- Registered and insured vehicle.
- N.Y.S. Child Abuse Registry clearance.
- Mobility sufficient to drive to and participate in meetings at client's homes and/or community facilities.
- Some locations may not meet Federal accessibility standards for disabled individuals.
