Responsibilities
The Administrative Program Coordinator is responsible for creating and coordinating record keeping procedures and policies for program participants, overseeing the Food Giveaway program at the House of Providence location, and networking with Catholic Charities and external service providers to make appropriate referrals for program participants. They are also responsible for maintaining and updating all records in a timely manner to meet funding source guidelines, managing the food pantry stock and ordering, preparing program reports, assisting the Program Director with administrative tasks and reporting, screening clients for program services, acting as a professional role model, and ensuring compliance with funding source guidelines and Catholic Charities policies and procedures.
This Popsition is Full Time at 35 hours a Week. Pay is $24.00/Hour
Qualifications
Education and/or Experience Required at Entry:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Up to three (3) years of experience with vulnerable populations.
- Administrative experience preferred.
Licenses/Certificate/Clearances:
- Valid N.Y.S. Driver's License.
- Registered & Insured Vehicle
- Clearance from N.Y.S. Child Abuse Registry.
Skills/Abilities:
- Proficiency in utilizing electronic database systems.
- Strong knowledge of MS Outlook and MS Office.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
Working Conditions and Environment/Physical Demands:
- Mobility sufficient for driving to and participating in meetings at client's homes and community facilities that may not meet accessibility standards.
- Manual dexterity necessary for working with children and adults in a challenging and active environment.
