Position Summary :

Assist in managing the day-to-day maintenance and janitorial of the Campus to ensure optimal appearance and function of the Agency's properties.

Essential Responsibilities :

Oversee maintenance of buildings to ensure proper and safe working conditions.
Oversee the Manager of Housekeeping, ensuring that the property cleanliness complies with the set standard.
Perform regular inspections to ensure proper and safe operation of equipment.
Interview, hire, train, counsel, discipline and evaluate staff.
Develop, coach, and mentor team members.
Ensure staff levels are appropriate for days and hours of operation.
Complete all related paperwork and reports in an accurate and timely manner.
Support all safety efforts and ensure departmental compliance with all OSHA requirements.
Order and maintain supplies, equipment, inventory and materials.
Maintain oversight of Agency Fleet assets.
Payroll preparation and editing for accuracy and wage and hour compliance.
Protect all confidential information, Agency property and electronic data. Comply with safety rules.
Other related duties as directed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

Possess excellent oral and written communication and management skills.

Possess excellent report writing and analysis skills.

Working knowledge of building and property maintenance and related equipment.

Proficiency in computers and Microsoft Office, with specific emphasis on Excel, Word, and Powerpoint.

Sound judgment to work autonomously; prioritize work and meet necessary deadlines.

Knowledge of applicable wage, hour and employment laws.

Flexible schedule to work after hours and weekends.

Knowledge of all Agency policies, including safety.

Qualifications :

High School or equivalent education. Associate Degree preferred.

Experience in Facilities Maintenance / Property Management.

Flexible schedule to work after hours and weekends, as necessary.

Must be 25 years old, a valid Driver's License with current minimum Nevada state required auto insurance.

Physical Requirements

Ability to communicate with co-workers, clients and volunteers.

Ability to continuously sit and / or stand. Ability to climb stairs and ladders as needed.

Ability to work continuously at a computer terminal with continuous use of keyboard and mouse.

May occasionally lift up to 75 pounds; may push / pull carts up to 100 pounds.

Ability to work in environmental factors that include extreme heat and cold, dirt or dust.
