Intake Coordinator

1. Assess prospective clients for program eligibility through receipt of internal and external referrals
2. Responsible for assisting homeless households with obtaining and maintaining basic household furnishings
3. Assess prospective clients for program eligibility through receipt of internal and external referrals
4. Responsible for apartment inspections to ensure apartments are safe and in compliance with Housing and Urban Development Housing Quality Standards
5. Assists clients with coordination of rent renewals and advocates for clients to resolve any landlord-related issues
6. Transports clients to view potential apartments and with obtaining household related items, as needed
7.Collects monthly rent from clients
8. Responsible for maintaining up-to-date and accurate client files, case notes and databases, as required by agency/programmatic policies and procedures, professional standards, and external requirements of all relevant regulatory, licensing, or accrediting bodies
9. Participates in community outreach efforts to obtain additional resources for clients

10. Meets with each client as required by the Program or based on client needs
11. Knows and complies with the laws and regulations relevant to the position and services

Relevant Education:
Preferred: Bachelor's Degree in Social Sciences
