Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Per Diem Residential Counselor to join our team. As a Residential Counselor, you will work closely with program residents to develop and implement individualized service plans, providing direct counseling and support. You will also supervise recreational activities, provide crisis intervention, and transport residents to medical appointments as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized service plans for program residents
- Supervise and organize recreational activities and socialization events
- Provide crisis intervention and document observations
- Transport residents to medical appointments
- Education and support on medication compliance, independent living skills, and interpersonal skills
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor's degree in Mental Health or Social Services, or a related field. Alternatively, you can have a Bachelor's degree in another field with 1 year of related experience, or a High school diploma with 4 years of related experience. A valid driver's license is also required.
