Supervision: Provides administrative supervision of 4-6 FTEs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES And RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide clinical supervision to clinical staff.
- Complete initial intake and assign cases to clinical staff.
- Review and sign all notes, deployment packets and any paperwork related to the initial deployment or follow up contact in Credible.
- Provide clinical consultation to staff during deployment of crisis calls.
- Facilitate case debriefings following deployments.
- Monitor client files and records on a daily/weekly basis for completeness, proper maintenance, and MRO billing.
- Maintain quality clinical practices.
- Provide administrative supervision to clinical staff, interns and volunteers.
- Participate in recruiting and hiring of program personnel.
- Ensure performance reviews are conducted according to Agency policy and deadline.
- Arrange for appropriate staff training and development.
- Conduct regular team meetings and roll call.
- Participate in monthly ride-a-longs and shadowing of staff for quality review and supervision.
- Facilitate team dynamics.
- Enable staff participation in quality improvement.
- Ensure the timely preparation and submission of all external and internal program reports.
- Serve as liaison between the program and community partners.
- Perform all other job-related duties as assigned.
- Master’s in Social Work, Counseling, Mental Health, or related field.
- Licensure in relevant discipline (LICSW, LPC) in the District of Columbia and the State of Maryland.
- Three (3) years of experience working with families in crisis.
- Two (2) years of clinical supervisory experience.
- Driving is required. Must have valid local driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Clinical judgement and ability to make objective decisions timely and effectively.
- Ability to supervise and train employees and foster a cooperative work environment.
