The Supervisor, Case Management is responsible for the supervision of designated Case Manager positions in the Stable Homes Program and Rapid Rehousing Program (COVID), coordinating/updating referral services, and providing input regarding complex cases. Also responsible for ensuring client files are maintained in accordance with agency policies and reporting program metrics.
What you Deliver
- Ensures precise and accurate documentation of case management services, including client files and entries into the program databases.
- Provides guidance and supervision of Case Managers. Monitor performance, provides training and development.
- Supervision of designated Case Manager positions to include regular staffing sessions to discuss client issues and progress, and input regarding particularly complex cases.
- Coordinates with a variety of internal and external stakeholders, as necessary, to meet program needs and avoid duplications of services.
- Provides community resource referral updates to Case Managers.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
The Expertise We're Looking For
- Associate Degree
- Two (2) years of experience in a social service setting or similar setting
- One (1) year of experience in a leadership role
- Valid Texas Drivers License

- Flexible and effective team player, able to adapt to changes and a busy workplace environment
- Knowledge and experience with housing issues and available resources
- Experience and knowledge with the challenges of and resources for those at-risk of homelessness
- Knowledge of homelessness and related issues, and poverty-related issues
- Ability to work with diverse communities
- Excellent organizational skills and an ability to self-motivate
- Excellent written/verbal communication and people skills
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel, Outlook and navigating the Intranet
- Ability to work under pressure, address multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to identify key issues in problem solving and implement effective and creative solutions
