As the Domestic Violence Victims Advocate, you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through:
- Complete assessment of needed supports and services, available resources and a plan for meeting client’s needs.
- Provide referrals and linkages to other community agencies as appropriate.
- Develop safety plans with clients.
- Maintain accurate and complete case notes.
- Provision of children services, including: counseling, recreational activities and childcare as appropriate.
- Participate in fund development activities.
- Maintain statistics, complete statistical reports, complete functional timesheets and any other required reporting in a timely manner.
Domestic Violence Victims Advocate Minimum Salary: $18
Domestic Violence Victims Advocate Maximum Salary: $20
Domestic Violence Victims Advocate Schedule: Mon – Fri 8:30am-4:00pm (35 Hours)
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of experience
- Valid driver’s license, proof of current car insurance and registration and access to a reliable, working vehicle
