As the Head Preschool Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through:
- Utilize the Troy City School District UPK curriculum and guidelines
- Informally observe and evaluate children
- Maintain files on children specifically related to social and cognitive group and development
- Encourage and model social behaviors and expectations which are developmentally appropriate
- Be available and response to children’s needs, questions, and requests
- This is a 10 month position
Head Preschool Teacher Minimum Salary: $22.00 per hour
Head Preschool Teacher Maximum Salary: $22.00 per hour
Head Preschool Teacher Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:30am-3:00pm
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education
- 1-3 years of experience in a daycare/preschool/classroom setting
- Preferred: NYS Pre-School Teacher Certification or eligible to receive certification (we will work you to help obtain certification)
