As the Payroll & Fiscal Manager, you will play a pivotal role in individuals' lives, making a significant impact through:
- Process and administer bi-weekly payroll for Catholic Charities agencies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with policies and both Federal and NYS regulations
- Maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems (ADP WFN and ADP WFM) to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions
- Generate and review ADP payroll reports detailing net cash, taxes, garnishments, and benefits deductions
- Compile and analyze monthly consolidated financial statements from Sage Intacct accounting software, which will need to be updated to contain the narratives provided by agency fiscal directors for review by the Controller
- Assist with annual budget preparation completed in Sage Intacct, including leveraging the systems compiled data to prepare for presentation materials for Finance Committee and Board of Trustee meetings to be reviewed by Controller and CFO
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage, and tax regulations; facilitate audits by providing necessary documentation
- Administer website access and system updates for financial and payroll platforms (e.g., SFS, Vend Rep, Grants Gateway, Sage Intacct, ADP WFN and ADP WFM, Adaptive)
Payroll & Fiscal Manager Minimum Salary: $ 60,400
Payroll & Fiscal Manager Maximum Salary: $ 61,000
Payroll & Fiscal Manager Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm (40 hours with 1hr lunch)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- 1-3 years of experience
- Must have a personal cell phone
- Strong understanding of Federal and NYS payroll tax laws, wage compliance, and employee benefits administration
