As the Volunteer Recruiter and Coordinator for our Aging Life Program, you’ll be at the heart of this mission, empowering volunteers to offer vital non-medical support to seniors in their homes and communities. You won’t just be recruiting and managing volunteers—you’ll be shaping meaningful connections that positively impact the community as a whole. Your role is key in creating a network of trained, compassionate volunteers who provide the kind of care and support that makes all the difference.
Responsibilities will include:
• Design and implementation of on-going volunteer recruitment activities throughout the catchment area served by the program.
• Presentation of information sessions for potential volunteers at sites throughout the county.
• Response to volunteer inquiries, answering questions and providing instructions about the process of becoming a volunteer.
• Face-to-face interviews with potential volunteers to determine appropriateness for and interest in providing services.
• Completion of program monthly reporting requirements.
• Completion of all client documentation required to make volunteer match.
• Matching trained volunteers with seniors.
• On-going communication with clients and volunteers throughout service provision.
• Other duties as deemed necessary for the successful operation of the program.
Aging Life Coordinator Minimum Salary: $ 20.88
Aging Life Coordinator Maximum Salary: $ 21.43
Aging Life Coordinator Schedule: Mon, Tues, Thurs, Friday 8:30am-4:30pm & Wednesday 11am-7pm (35 Hours)
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree
- 1-3 years of experience
- Valid driver's license
