The Data and Finance Associate will support the accounting/finance functions of the agency and help ensure that our operations comply with legal regulatory standards, procedures, and policies.

The Data and Finance Associate will support the accounting/finance functions of the agency and help ensure that our operations comply with legal regulatory standards, procedures, and policies.

Key Performance Objectives Include:
- Process transactions for the month-end closing process, including AP, AR, CASH, and GL entries.
- Responsible for efficient and effective Accounts Payable transactional support, including research of vendors, invoices, and payments.
- Provide transactional support related to banking and deposits, ensuring appropriate documentation is received and maintained.
- Support payroll processing by ensuring accuracy, completeness, and efficiency.
- Support the internal audit and quality control elements of the agency, including eligibility reviews and program compliance.
- Assist with gathering and analyzing all sources of data, including paper forms, spreadsheets, current data systems, and outside databases.
- Assist with the creation of monthly, quarterly, and annual data reporting packages and dashboards for leadership.
- Retain all documents associated with a funded award including proposals, executed agreements, MOUs, invoices, reports, program/funder audits, and correspondence.
- Support the Catholic Charities USA Annual Reporting process.
- Assist with preparation and filing of compliance reports – external and internal, as necessary.
- Assist with contract funding support and tracking of outcomes and outputs.
Minimum Qualifications:
- A minimum of an associate’s degree in business, finance, or a related field is required.
- Proficiency in MS Office is required.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills are required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
- Strong collaboration and team building skills are required.
- Act 33/34 clearances are required.
