What will you be doing in your role?
You lead, manage, and are accountable for the functions performed by your team to support the overall mission of the agency.You lead with an understanding of the agency’s Big Picture and your department’s role in that vision.You develop, monitor, and evaluate all department work plans, outputs, and outcomes to ensure goals are met.You monitor and evaluate team performance to ensure compliance with all expectations and standards of practice.You provide training, supervision, mentoring, and coaching to develop department staff and leadership.You monitor department expenditures to ensure accountability and operation within established budget.You lead team’s identification and development of resources (volunteer, donor, financial) necessary to ensure successful department performance, including the preparation of proposals.You represent agency leadership with community partners and civic leaders.You cultivate positive relationships with relevant funding and monitoring entities, faith-based organizations, social service providers, and other community partners.You complete or audit all necessary documentation to ensure compliance with funder requirements, licensing requirements and agency quality assurance standards.You develop and implement program policies and procedures to ensure effective and efficient delivery of services.You ensure effective communication with department, peers and agency leadership.You assure services are delivered in accordance with agency culture, mission, vision and values.Are you the next Director of Client Services?
Master’s degree in social work or related field preferred or a combination of education and work-related experience.3 to 5 years’ experience managing a diverse social service team.Here’s the Good Stuff…
