As the foundation supporting the current and lasting success of the Catholic Charities Housing Office, the Executive Director (ED) leads and manages agency operations, finances, programs, staff, and volunteers. The ED will drive strategic planning, fundraising, and stakeholder relationships to achieve the mission and goals of the local agency and contribute to the overall mission and success of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Albany.
Key Responsibilities :
- The ED will be an influential leader, coach, and competent business manager.
- The ED will be mission-focused and have the ability to articulate the mission of Catholic Charities establishing clear, achievable milestones and a framework to achieve agency goals.
- As the face of the Agency, the ED will be an outstanding communicator who effectively speaks on behalf of the agency investing in the future by building relationships in the community and overseeing fundraising events.
- The ED will establish and actively engage with the Housing Committee of the Board of Trustees in order to effectively carry out the mission of the Agency and ensure continued success.
- Through strong leadership, the ED will lead by example, and through continuous performance feedback, create a healthy culture that allows the agency to recruit and retain top talent.
