What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adoption Case Manager position at Catholic Charities Washtenaw County?
Full-time position available for an experienced Adoption Case Manager with a BSW, MSW preferred. The ideal candidate will have completed the required DHS adoption training through the Child Welfare Training Institute and be ready to accept a caseload. Consideration will be given to candidates who have completed foster care training with CWTI.
Requirements include experience working in adoption, knowledge of foster care system, and experience working with children within foster care. Must possess strong social work skills to provide full range of services for adoption placements with adoptive parents, and ability to work with an open adoption philosophy. Familiarity with Michigan Adoption Code is required. Ability to work with flexible schedule, plus availability for evening and weekend on-call services is required. Must have experience in recruitment and retention.
Total compensation includes benefit, and retirement plans with employer contribution, plus paid time off and a generous paid holiday schedule which includes Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day.
This position qualifies for a $1,250 Welcome Bonus (some restrictions apply).
