What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver Services Coordinator position at Catholic Charities Washtenaw County?
There is a full-time position available within the Senior Services program at Catholic Charities Washtenaw County. The Caregiver Program Coordinator will oversee and manage all aspects of our Caregiver programs, ensuring quality service delivery, volunteer engagement, and program growth. This individual will play a key role in client intake, service provision, volunteer management, and will maintain compliance with funder requirements. Additionally, the coordinator will actively contribute to program innovation and expansion, working closely with internal and external partners to enhance our services.
Minimum bachelor’s degree in social work, public health, gerontology or related human services field or equivalent combination of education and proven experience.
Required experience includes but is not limited to:
§ Two years working with older adults and caregivers or related experience.
§ Strong knowledge of caregiving services, senior services and community-based programs.
§ Experience with and comfort in serving vulnerable persons
.
Competitive pay; will be dependent upon relevant experience. Total compensation includes benefit and retirement plans with employer contribution, plus paid time off and a generous paid holiday schedule which includes Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day.
