What are the responsibilities and job description for the Washtenaw County Advocacy Cneter Program Manager position at Catholic Charities Washtenaw County?
Immediate full-time opening available to fill this critical role at the CCWC Washtenaw Child Advocacy Center. In collaboration with agency leadership, the Program Manager provides daily program oversight and management, and is responsible for implementing policies, procedures, and practices that align with the National Children’s Alliance and certification to serve the long-term sustainability of program services, which include forensic interviewing, victim advocacy, and crisis counseling. Participates in community and agency collaboratives and demonstrates leadership in communication, team building, and problem solving. In collaboration with the agency administration provides quality data and statistics and funding content for grants and funding.
Bachelor’s degree in social work, criminal justice, psychology, or other relevant human services program area, plus proven experience in child abuse, victim services and outreach, crisis intervention, and/or the criminal justice system.
Other certifications and licensures include:
§ Certification as required by the State of Michigan, professional organizations, and accrediting bodies if applicable
§ Valid Michigan driver’s license required
Experience includes but is not limited to, grant management, team building, leadership, and management experience in the areas of social or human services, and proven success leading and building the capacity of a diverse team. Must have exceptional problem solving, strategic thinking, conflict negotiation skills and ability to develop and execute strategic plans and programmatic policies and procedures.
Total compensation includes benefit, and retirement plans with employer contribution, plus paid time off and a generous paid holiday schedule which includes Christmas Eve through New Year’s Day.
