Part Time-Flex. position - (20-37.5 hours per week - Weekday hours between Monday-Friday - Hours are based on program need).
Pay starts at $23.79 / hr. - $24.98 / hr. (D.O.E/Education)

Compensation is set by agreed to language in the Collective Bargaining Agreement between CCSNW & SEIU 1199NW and determined based on experience.
Clare’s Place provides 65 units of permanent supportive housing for chronically homeless and vulnerable households in Snohomish County and provides another housing choice for chronically homeless households that have difficulty finding and qualifying for housing in the private market and that are seeking a supportive community.
The Case Aide will be responsible for providing assistance to Clare’s Place Housing Services, which includes working with Case Managers, Housing Authorities, DSHS and Partner Agencies. This position will include completing documentation, staffing clients and providing programmatic support to the Housing Case Management team.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
CLIENT COORDINATION:
- Serve as an advocate and liaison between the client, landlords, housing authorities and social service agencies.
- Will work closely with Case Managers and the Director of Housing.
- Schedule client appointments with internal Case Managers as well as external service providers. Remind clients of appointments and follow up as needed.
- Some travel is required in making deliveries of documents and working with outside agencies.
DOCUMENTATION AND REPORTS:
- Assist in the preparation of statistical reports that are required for auditing purposes.
- Coordinate with Supportive Housing staff and other appropriate community partners in filling requests for services.
- Ensure that appropriate paperwork is collected, filed, copied and forwarded to appropriate parties.
- Assist with maintaining compliance with program guidelines and documentation for each client record.
Provide transportation to residents/clients as needed/requested.
Other work-related duties as required.
JOB CONDITIONS:
This position requires the employee to work in an environment where there may be exposure to blood, bodily fluids, and other potentially infectious material. Other exposures could include cleaning supplies, chemicals involved in pest control, paint and other materials used in building maintenance. Working conditions may include interruptions and interactions with angry persons.
HMIS – Expected to develop proficiency in maintaining accurate client records in HMIS, the client tracking software application used by programs throughout the agency. Proficiency includes entry of data into the client record, the editing of information as needed, and the printing of reports within HMIS.
QUALIFICATIONS:
MINIMUM:
- 1 year of college in human services or related field, OR 1 year of direct experience working with low-income or homeless individuals/families in a professional setting OR volunteer experience in working with low-income or homeless individuals/families – a substitution could be a combination of any of the items listed above that equate to 1 year.
- Reliable transportation, WA State Driver’s License & proof of current automobile insurance.
- Proof of acceptable driving record (Driving Abstract-Complete record-full driving record required).

- Computer skills in MS Word, Excel and Windows-based applications.
- Ability to work with minimum supervision.
- Strong communication, interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team model.
