Catholic of Pointe Coupee is seeking a passionate and dedicated educator to join our faculty as a High School Math and/or Chemistry Teacher. Key Responsibilities:
- Teach high Advanced Math and/or Chemistry (Honors and Non-Honors).
- Design engaging and rigorous lesson plans aligned with academic standards and Catholic values.
- Foster a positive and respectful classroom environment that supports student growth academically, spiritually, and socially.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of students in both Honors and Non-Honors courses.
- Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and other evaluation methods, providing timely and constructive feedback. Collaborate with colleagues to promote a cohesive academic program.
- Serve as a role model, demonstrating faith and leadership in line with the mission and traditions of our Catholic school.
- Participate in professional development, faculty meetings, and school activities as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in: Education, Math, Chemistry, or a related field.
- Valid teaching certification (or ability to obtain one).
- Experience teaching high school-level Math and/or Chemistry preferred.
