Founded in 1970, Lake Catholic High School is a coeducational comprehensive high school with a college preparatory emphasis. Lake Catholic is committed to educating young men and women of diverse means and ability throughout Northeast Ohio. With a population of roughly 500 students in grades nine through twelve, Lake Catholic High School emphasizes spiritual growth in the Catholic Faith as students learn, work, and serve.
Position Overview
The Assistant Director of Admission works in conjunction with the Director of Enrollment Management to design, develop and implement all programs that promote Lake Catholic High School to prospective students, their parents and to the greater community. This role is responsible for managing the various events, processes, and relationships necessary to help meet Enrollment goals. The Assistant Director of Admission reports directly to the Director of Enrollment Management.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages the FACTS Student Information System.
- Manages the admission process for all incoming freshmen, transfer students and parent communications and hosting of events.
- Manages communication efforts and sharing information to prospective parents via phone, e-mail and written correspondence in response to various admission inquiries.
- Directs the shadowing programs for prospective students including visit scheduling, current student matching and development of communication materials.
- Coordinates the administration of placement tests, including the inventory of placement testing, scoring services and dissemination of information.
- Directs major recruiting events.
- Assists in the planning execution of high school nights.
- Directs the Student Ambassador program, including selection process, training sessions, and providing continuing education throughout the year.

Requirements
- Associate degree preferred
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience in high school admission
- Proven record of accomplishing enrollment goals
- Must be willing to work mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Successful BCI and FBI background checks and VIRTUS certified or willing to be certified.
