St. Francis de Sales Parish School is currently seeking a passionate and faith-filled Intervention Specialist.
Qualifications & Requirements: Current State of Ohio Full or Supplemental Intervention Specialist License, Current (or willingness to pursue in a timely manner) BCI/FBI Background Check and Virtus Training through the Diocese of Cleveland.
Intervention Specialist teacher responsibilities will include: Working effectively with students with IEPs or Service Plans to deliver specially designed instruction for identified needs. These needs may include specific learning disabilities, cognitive or intellectual impairment, or Other Health Impairments such as ADHD. Applicants will need to facilitate the growth of academic, social, behavioral and functional (organizational) skills. Additionally, the Intervention Specialist will participate in evaluation, data collection and communication contributing to Multi-factored Evaluations and Evaluation Team Reports for referred students.
