Trinity High School, a leader in secondary college preparatory Catholic education in the Cleveland/Akron, Ohio market, seeks an experienced IT professional to serve a dual role in our school community Competitive Salary for a Professional IT Instructor Teachers at Trinity High School: • Support the Franciscan mission of the school and its sponsoring order, the Sisters of St. Joseph of the Third Order of St. Francis, by word and deed. • Work with students of all learning abilities by utilizing best practices in lesson planning, instruction and assessment. • Integrate the school’s existing technology into instruction on a regular basis. • Embrace opportunities for professional and spiritual growth. • Attend to both the spiritual, emotional and academic growth of all students. • Initiate regular communication with students’ parents/guardians. • Understand the necessity of being flexible and open to growth.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities as IT Instructor • Proficiency with SimLab/Testout Software specific to A PC Technician, Network and Security • Desired Certifications in A PC Technician, Network and Security • Work with students each year to advance their knowledge of computer hardware and software through coursework and hands-on learning. • Assist students in obtaining industry-standard IT certifications. • Evaluate students’ knowledge using tests and quizzes while maintaining students’ grades. • Communicate when necessary with students and their parents regarding classroom performance.
Requirements • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience. • Ability to work independently AND as part of a team. • Experience working with educational institutions a plus.
