Saint Brendan Catholic School is seeking a full-time Science Teacher for grades 6-8 for the 2025-2026 school year. Candidates should practice effective classroom management with excellent organization and structure, demonstrate the ability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment, have a strong command of integrated science (Life, Earth, Physical), facilitate the school Science Fair, communicate regularly with parents and colleagues, prioritize safe oversight of students in all lab, classroom, and school settings, and other duties as assigned.
Candidates should also be collaborative, receptive to coaching/feedback, committed to learning and implementing Classical Catholic pedagogies, and enthusiastic to practice the teaching ministry/vocation in a positive and team-oriented environment. Candidates should live the virtues and morals compatible with and supportive of the teachings and mission of St. Brendan School, the Catholic Diocese of Cleveland, and the Roman Catholic Church. Candidates must pass a background check and have a Bachelor’s degree in education, preferably in the field of science.
