POSITION SUMMARY
The Childcare Coordinator is responsible for providing childcare services for children during parish liturgies and activities.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Oversees the childcare facility, ensuring the environment is safe and clean and adequate supplies are available.
Determine and report supply and maintenance needs in the childcare area in a timely manner.
Coordinate childcare staffing responsibilities.
Maintain information of volunteers and paid childcare personnel.
Maintain and submit payroll for the paid childcare staff.
Obtain and maintain information cards on the children who regularly use the childcare facilities.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma and demonstrable experience in working with children in an educational setting.
Experience in caring for children.
Training or coursework in child development, elementary education or related experience helpful.
Successful completion of the Parish Safe Environment process
WORKING CONDITIONS
Child care setting.
Evening and weekend hours may be required.
