Job Summary
The Coordinator of Communication is responsible for maintaining, updating and adding content to the parish website The coordinator also is responsible for creating all content of the weekly parish bulletin and insuring it arrives to the printer in time for distribution as well as tracking production and shipment of the weekly bulletin. The coordinator also creates all flyers, posters, other print media and computer graphics for the parish and its ministries and is responsible for email communications to the parish at large. The coordinator will oversee and work with the parish Social Media Coordinator and has a shared responsibility in maintaining the parish calendars.

Coordinator of Communications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience in computer based or graphic design
- Experience in print media
- Experience in website design and maintenance
- Experience with social media
- Writing experience
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively with others
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Business Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Publisher, Access, and PowerPoint) and Google Business Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides, and Gmail)
- Proficient in Social Media platforms, especially Facebook and Instagram
- Familiarity with Adobe Indesign
- Good computer literacy, including ability to navigate online applications and search engines effectively
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated fidelity to the Magisterium of the Roman Catholic Church

Responsibilities
Weekly Bulletin
- Gather content for the bulletin from staff and parish ministries
- Create all graphics needed for the bulletin
- Produce the bulletin in a timely fashion so that it can be proof read and sent to the publisher on time
- Track the bulletin production process and notify staff if it is not arriving on time.
- Adjust bulletin quantities as needed.
- Maintain the parish website, ensuring content is up to date
- Create and add content and pages as needed
- Improve the website as needed or as decided by the pastor
- Create all print media for the parish and its ministries
- Ensure print media is hung/displayed and up to date in the gathering spaces of all three of our church buildings
- Create all computer based media for the parish and its ministries
- Ensure timely creation of media so it can be posted on website, event forms, social media, etc…
- In conjunction with the business manger, help to maintain the parish calendars
