Pay Rate : $45,000 - $52,000 per year.

We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Elementary School Computer Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will inspire young learners with a passion for technology and guide them in developing essential computer skills. This role involves teaching computer literacy, fostering digital citizenship, and integrating technology into the broader curriculum to enhance student learning. This role will also provide technical support to students and staff, assist with maintaining IT infrastructure, and contribute to a smooth technological operation within the school. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in an educational environment and is passionate about technology.

Teaching Responsibilities :

• Instruction : Teach computer science and technology subjects to elementary students, including basic computer operations, internet safety, word processing, spreadsheets, presentations, and coding.
• Curriculum Development : Develop and implement engaging lesson plans and activities that align with state standards and the school's educational goals.
• Classroom Management : Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and fosters collaboration and creativity.
• Assessment : Assess and evaluate student progress through assignments, projects, and assessments. Provide feedback and support to help students achieve their learning objectives.
• Technology Integration : Collaborate with other teachers to integrate technology into their curricula and support the use of educational software and tools.
• Professional Development : Stay current with the latest educational technology trends and best practices. Attend professional development workshops and training sessions as required.
• Communication : Maintain open communication with students, parents, and colleagues. Provide updates on student progress and participate in parent-teacher conferences as needed.
• Administrative Tasks : Manage classroom technology resources, including computers, tablets, and other devices. Ensure that equipment is maintained and in good working order.
• Digital Citizenship : Educate students about responsible and ethical use of technology, including internet safety, digital footprint, and online etiquette.
