Job Title: Youth Care Worker
Program: Unaccompanied Minors - ORR
Salary: $22 - 23hr (Based on experience and educational achievements)
Location: Bronx & NYC
Shift: Varies
General Responsibilities:
CGS is looking for a Passionate Assistant Lead Youth Care Worker for our unaccompanied minors program. The Assistant Lead Youth Care Worker works as scheduled in the shelter, providing supervision, support and direction to children fostering their positive growth and development; maintains a hazard free , clean and orderly household; prepares meals to conform to menus; completes all required logs, forms and reports; participates in meetings as scheduled; accompanies groups or individual children for outside activities or appointments.
Required Skills:
- HS Diploma/GED,
- 2 years child welfare related experience,
- Prior experience working with adolescents
- Bilingual English/Spanish written/spoken.
- Ability to cover shifts as needed
- Flu Vaccine Required
Desired Skills:
- Drivers’ license
