About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Associate to join our team at Catholic Health Initiatives. As an Environmental Services Associate, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, visitors, and staff.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and declutter hospital areas, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash.
- Sanitize patient rooms, emergency rooms, operating rooms, and other areas using approved tools and routines.
- Restock supplies as needed in supply areas, common areas, and patient rooms.
- Learns and follows proper techniques for disposal of all medical waste, including biological or biohazard waste.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
- Ability to maintain high level of accuracy when working with chemicals.
