Overview

St. Lukes Health-Sugar Land Hospital offers the latest technology and treatments for residents of Fort Bend County and Southwest Houston. Our services range from heart care and neuroscience to robotic surgery. Our recently opened Family Birthing Center offers incomparable care and amenities in a spa-like environment to provide a VIP-Very Important Pregnancy-experience. Since 2008 our experienced doctors nurses and support staff have provided expert care to support our community.

Responsibilities

Assesses patients and plan care for shift needs in all departments with assistance from nursing staff and departmentmanagers; must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and possess theability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify eachpatient's requirements relative to their specific needs, and provide the care needed as described in each department.1. Manages overtime and unit staffing for all nursing staff based on budget, patient acuity and census on a daily basis2. Communicates staffing decisions to Nurse Managers of concerned area3. Ensures agency nursing staff is in appropriate units at the scheduled time4. Responds and intervenes in all emergency situations5. Coordinates all staff nurse sick calls and communicates information to the manager of concern.6. Responsible for the notification of on call staff7. Responsible for coordinating after hour procedures

Qualifications

Required :

BSN is required for Magnet or Pathway designated hospitals

Bachelor's Degree for Non‐Magnet or Pathway designated hospitals

Registered Nurse (RN)

Based on location assignment may also require BLS / ACLS / and or PALS

Five (5) years of clinical experience

Pay Range

38.81 - $56.28 / hourWe are an equal opportunity / affirmative action employer.
